The Purchasing Department is responsible for providing fair and accurate purchasing guidelines and procedures to the public for projects, goods and services for the district. The department issues bid/proposal and quotation solicitations as needed and all while ensuring compliance with purchasing laws, statutes and policies related to public school districts.

Insurance RFP (Closing date — 2 p.m. July 25, 2024)
Lufkin ISD is accepting Competitive Sealed Proposals for its Worker’s Compensation and Property & Casualty insurance coverage. A proposer’s questionnaire may be obtained from the District’s consultant Robert V. Reim Company, by e-mailing bobreim@robertreim.com. The completed Questionnaires must be returned to the District’s consultant. All proposers will be qualified and insurance companies will be assigned. Proposals must be submitted prior to 2 p.m. July 25, 2024. The District’s current coverage expires Sept. 1, 2024.
