Two students from Lufkin High School applied and were accepted to the BigFuture Ambassador program for Fall 2024.
Class of 2025 Senior, Cassandra Lopez and Class of 2027 Sophomore, Tripp McManus were chosen for the program.
As part of College Board’s BigFuture Program, ambassadors help students connect with BigFuture School to navigate life after high school. Students attend Zoom meetings, plan and share free college and career resources via social media, provide feedback on the program to College Board, and network with other students in the program.
The BigFuture Ambassador Program is open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders that attend schools that offer the PSAT/NMSQT or SAT School Day, regardless of whether you’re interested in a four-year college, two-year college, or career training. Students under the age of 13 cannot sign up to be a BigFuture Ambassador.
This program runs from September 2024 to December 2024. Spring applications for 2025 will open soon. Interested students can apply here.
We are proud to recognize Cassandra and Tripp, and honored to have them representing Lufkin High School as BigFuture Ambassadors. Their initiative to research and apply for this program is to be commended.
