Sonjua Deason, 7th grade counselor at Lufkin Middle School, won the first district prize for the United Way campaign. The first prize was lunch from Which Wich, which she was thrilled to receive. Then she was told that Which Wich was kind enough to donate lunch for the entire 7th grade teachers for lunch on Friday. Mrs. Deason was on cloud 9. Congratulations, Mrs. Deason, and thank you for supporting United Way.

Lufkin ISD is currently at 29% of our goal of $15,000. The next prize drawing will be on Friday for a week of reserved parking on your campus. Good luck!
