Two Lufkin High School students placed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo over Spring Break. Talen Garcia won first place in the category of Lightweight Red Cross Market Steer. Sloan Moss won third place in the category of Heavyweight Polled Hereford Market Steer. Both steers sold at the auction on Saturday. The students will find out in the fall how much the steers brought at auction. Congratulations!
