The Lufkin Middle School National Junior Honor Society volunteered at Winnie Berry Humane Society on Tuesday. The students raked leaves, cleaned dog houses, bathed animals and provided lots of play time to the furry friends at the humane society. Winnie Berry Humane Society is a no-kill shelter that works to prevent pet overpopulation through education, providing services to improve animal welfare and caring for animals without a home.
