Lufkin Middle School and Communities In Schools hosted a ‘Serving Those Who Served’ Veterans Day luncheon today at the middle school. The 8th grade students involved in Communities in Schools served the veterans who work at Lufkin Middle School. Outback Steakhouse generously provided the meal. Those students who helped are: Kayden Phillips, Jakevin Moore, Demarea Rodriguez, Messiah Sapp and Miguel Rodriguez. Aryn Ricks, Communities in Schools Site Coordinator, helped facilitate the luncheon. Not only were the veterans given a delicious meal, they were presented cards for Lufkin Middle School students and a certificate. Thank you for your service!
