About the Board of Trustees

The Board shall consist of seven members and will be an at-large election on Nov. 3, 2020. All Lufkin ISD Residents who met eligibility requirements specified in Board Policy BBA (Legal) were eligible to run for a position in the Board of Trustee election. Board Members shall be elected for three-year terms, with elections conducted annually.

Election Date – November 3, 2020 (May election that was put on hold — New candidates are not allowed to file for a place on the ballot.)

• Early voting begins: October 13, 2020
• Last day of early voting: October 30, 2020
• Election Date: November 3, 2020
