Brookhollow Elementary created a college awareness environment on campus by encouraging students and staff to celebrate National College Colors Day by wearing college t-shirts, masks, or colors of their favorite university or college. The Friday before Labor Day is considered National College Colors Day. The day was established to encourage everyone to display their team spirit and to reflect on the rich heritage and traditions of colleges across the nation.
Celebrating a day like this starts the conversation of college readiness and opportunities.
