“I am a Citizen of this World” is just one of the inspirational songs that students at Herty Primary performed during their Black History Month program Friday at Herty Primary gym. Proud parents and Herty staff watched as the students sang and did many hand motions to the following songs:

The program was put together by Whitney Hogue who has been the music teacher at Herty Primary for the past six years.
