The Lufkin ISD Education Foundation received a check in the amount of $3,880 from the In & Out Clinic flu vaccine incentive. Jean Hester, R.N. Clinical Coordinator at the In & Out Clinic presented a check to Morgan Watson, Education Foundation Executive Director. For the past two years, the clinic vaccinated 460 Lufkin ISD staff and families and donated $5 for each vaccine to the Education Foundation.
The mission of the Lufkin ISD Education Foundation is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teaching, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for all students of the Lufkin Independent School District. The money raised will help fund innovative teacher grants to enhance educational experiences for students.
