Lufkin High School junior Kristopher Murphy and freshman Reynold Guadarrama finished 32nd and 67th, respectively, out of 152 runners at the state Class 5A cross country championship meet in Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. Kristopher was running at the state meet for the second year in a row. He placed 65th last year. Reynold was the second-fastest freshman in the race.
