Chasnea Carter won first place in the photography category and will receive a scholarship for $1,000 for her handmade art piece featuring a photo of a student wearing and holding handmade masks.
Mathew Hineman placed first and will receive a $1,000 scholarship for his watercolor piece titled “Glorious Constellation”.
Flor Ortega received Honorable Mention and a $500 scholarship for her piece titled “Enticing Discoveries”.
Luke Langston received an Honorable Mention award and a $500 scholarship for his digital piece titled “Gyre of Light”.
The artwork will hang in the LISD Administration building.
