The Lufkin High School Drumline played quite a performance at the announcement of the 60-foot U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree that was driven on an 18-wheeler downtown First Street. The massive tree is going cross country from Carson National Forest in New Mexico to Washington D.C. Students, parents, local dignitaries and community members came by for a look at the tree and signed the banner on the side of the truck..
