Drs. Kavitha and Lenin Pinnamaneni presented a check in the amount of $30,000 to Lufkin ISD Superintendent Lynn Torres to be used for the Lufkin Middle School Success Initiative. With this money, the school district can implement innovative experiences and enrichment for middle school students that will help set them up for success in advanced courses, as well as success in high school and beyond. The Pinnamaneni’s have pledged additional money for a total of three years for this initiative. They are hopeful that now and after the three years, other families will want to join them in supporting advanced opportunities for our young students. They both feel that education is the key to future success and would encourage everyone to unite to support our students.
